As a famous viscose fiber manufacturing enterprise in China's chemical fiber industry, Jilin Chemical Fiber's guide product viscose staple yarn has an annual production capacity of 55,000 tons, ranking first in the country; viscose filament yarn has an annual production capacity of 22,000 tons, ranking second in the country. This cooperation with the German company Enka, one of the world's five major viscose filament production companies, can be described as a strong alliance. Enka will bring the world's top viscose filament production technology to China. After the joint venture is put into production, 60% of its products will be exclusively distributed to the European market by Enka. The project is expected to start in April this year and will be constructed in two phases. The first phase is expected to be put into operation in January 2007, and the second phase is expected to be put into operation in September 2007.
